Mrs. Trauma Flintstone, (née Anderthal), is a San Francisco-based performer who has appeared in over 50 productions on both coasts, including New Conservatory Theater's Pageant, When Pigs Fly, Whoop-dee-Doo and Gross Indulgences: The Trials of Liberace), Artfull Circle Theatre's Christmas with the Crawfords (for ten years), Jungle Red, The Andrews Sisters' Hollywood Canteen, Those Damn Calla Lilies and White Trash Compactor, ODC's opera Queer, Theatre Rhinoceros' The Big Drag (world premiere),Tom Orr's Dirty Little Show Tunes, Allen Sawyer'sgay pulp fiction trilogy (Hot Pants Homo, Senator Swish and Lavender Lockeroom), andthe rock musical Club Inferno. Trauma's cabaret showcase, Bijou, celebrates its 3-year anniversary in May, 2008. With the San Francisco Lesbian Gay Freedom Band, Trauma has appeared in four versions of the highly successful Dance-Along Nutcracker as well as three concerts. In 1999, Trauma was an Artist-in-Residence at the Jon Sims Center for the Performing Arts, presenting a re-examination of pre-Stonewall theatre from the origins of Off-Off Broadway, called "A Return To The Caffe Cino." Subsequently, the project was selected and presented in the 2000 Queer Arts Festival and again at the San Francisco Public Library in 2007. In 2006, Trauma was sainted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Trauma also won the notorious Miss Uranus pageant in 1994. She was also Miss April in the Desperate Diva's 2007 award-winning calendar.
